WiringPi was deprecated by its maintainer over a year ago http://wiringpi.com/wiringpi-deprecated/. The link to the sources repo https://git.drogon.net returns an "unavailable" message.

The 2.52 release doesn't fully work on Pi-4. IIRC there were several important functions that had breakage and the maintainer had already deprecated the project.

We ended up migrating to RPi.GPIO library.
