Hey, great to hear you're still thinking about moOde!

There's been a conversation ongoing mostly outside the Forum about CD playback and CD ripping as a part of moOde. I'm away from home right now but can catch you up later. A developer not actively participating in the Forum sent Tim some code and I got involved trialing it.

Yes, abcde is compatible with moOdeOS and auto-playback has  even been fitted experimentally into the moOde UI but seamlessly integrating everything with the moOde backend and UI is challenging.

Hey Kent, yes I’ve still been actively using it, but moving back to Borneo kills the creative side as the expense and time of shipping (2 months or more, form China!) and the frequency of missing shipments stifled my creativity somewhat.

We’ve moved, slowly making my way back to NZ via Europe and so with better pricing, better and more reliable shipping (and a market - found it hard to convince Asians to buy anything home-made) comes increased impetus to do more stuff.

I’ve acquired quite a bit of high-tech gear, too, which means panels, housings, etc. I can make myself.
