The pi is connected via wifi and audio is output from the dac to a stereo amp.  HDMI is turned off.  I've fiddled with various settings, but without success and am wondering what else I might do to figure this out.  Any ideas

Audio info shows the file is failing the decode stage and thus no output stream is produced.

I would start by looking at MPD log for indications of what is causing the failure to decode the file.

cat /var/log/mpd/log
