are the result of having FLAC encoded music tracks which have been mistreated by a misconfigured tagger which added an ID3 metadata tag.

This issue seems to turn up on our forum every six months or so.

If you upload one of those bad boys somewhere like DropBox and PM me a link to it I'll have a look.

As for the difference in Album and Track count, I dunno, but you'd need to look at the mpd log to see what it's thinking.
