I just bought a USBridge Signature player with Moode. Unfortunately, none of my two dacs (Wadia di122 and Wyred4Sound 2v2SE) is recognized when connected to the “clean” USB. I tried all kind of possible USB settings within Moode and different Moode versions too from the one provided (6.4) until the latest 6.7.1 with no success. Please note that when I connecting any of the two dacs to the front ‘WiFi/BT’ USB ports, they are properly recognised.
First, I thought that I maybe have got a faulty unit but later I found that when connecting to another 15 years old PS Audio Dig. Link dac, the usb option finally emerges in MPD configuration. I suspect there is a compatibility issue at either hardware or software level with the asynchronous usb design of the first two dacs.
Please let me know if your experience with other mainstream usb dacs (not pi related hats/dacs) confirms this fear and most importantly if there is a way out of this problem.
I would recommend talking to Allo about this issue.
It would be helpful to provide them with output from the command below when DAC is in the clean USB port and not being recognized and then that same DAC in the front USB port and successfully recognized.
Code:lsusb
Also feel free to post the two command outputs in this thread.
First of all, I want to warmly thank you for the immediate response. Please find below the requested lsusb for wadia di122+usbridge sig.

MPD Device type offers the choice between: onboard audio device and USB audio device. The DAC is functioning after selecting “USB audio device” saving and rebooting
I suppose that my other Dac Wyred4Sound (which is my preffered one) shows the same. Let me know if you feel usefull to do the same for it.
