Good news, and thank you Tim and popej for responding on this post originally.
I am now problem solving the casing hardware. I now have sound working very well through the Onkyo AVR with moOde driving it via the pi with no casing on the pi and connecting with a MicroHDMI cable to the pi board directly. Additionally, we have tested with both and official and generic MicroHDMI cable and both work fine.
There seems to be an issue with the Argon ONE V2 Pi 4 Case (2021) (below URL). It may the adapter card which transforms the pi outlets into a standard two sized HDMI for back plugin, or it is the standard HDMI cable I was using, which was an Audioquest Cinnamon.
I have ordered an official standard HDMI size cable, which is not as easy to find in the local market, and have to wait two weeks for stock to arrive. I will post regarding the results of the Argon QA results once the Official Pi standard HDMI cable arrives and is tested.
