Some users have had success with the workarounds that add a line to the file /etc/hosts. The other workaround involving adding a parameter to the librespot launch command is part of upcoming moOde 8.2.0 release (Q3).
The librespot team has also released a point fix in 0.4.2 release https://github.com/librespot-org/libresp...tag/v0.4.2. Our project will be making an installable package for this as we get closer to our upcoming 8.2.0 releaser.
Long term fix involves librespot team migrating to a new API in their future 0.5.x series :-)
