DSD64 content not playing over DOP

I don't claim to be expert on this DAC but  the Denefrips Pontus II spec sheet says

DSD     DSD64 / 2.8224MHz (DoP) on Coax/AES/Opt Input

             DSD1024 / 45.1584MHz * On USB & I²S Input Only

Does this mean DSD64 isn't available on I2S input???
