[PROBLEM] Samba setup.....Idiot guide required??

Have created a Samba Share folder on PC....named ADATA (moode (Moode SMB Server))can view files contained therein!

I understand your PC is now showing a folder named ADATA that is physically on moOde.
If this is true, then

Going to the Pi.....I scan to find what I believe to be a local source....in this case MOODE/ADATA

OF COURSE it is a local source. It is on the Pi, and you shared it so your PC can read/write files to it. This is how shared folder are meant to work:
- one computer shares a folder
- other computes see it
- the computer that shared it, still sees it as a local folder, because IT IS a local folder to it.
