Nope, if you do as we do, you get R/W access straight away.
Can you try with root as user, and the password you set for whatever the user in your Pi is...?

I've stuck with pi and moodeaudio....
try with root as user.....so enter sudo -s in SSH window?
Then....now have : root@moode:/home/pi#......not sure what to do with this?
No. as user/password as the credentials required when you connect to the share from your windows PC.
