When asked if you want to configure select EDIT (not 'Yes' as this just sets any previous edits and if you haven't used it before then it fails to use your config) and then fill the WiFi, SSID, wifi Password,     User, & User-Password  then toggle through the tabs and tick ssh.
Then back at the configure screen select Yes to use the edits you have just made.

Complete the install to your microSD card, insert to your Pi and boot.

Find the IP address of your Pi from another device on the network and connect via a Browser.

Note the info re Library and player screens..click them so as you know how to :-)

Read the Quick Help from the right top 'M' menu then configure as needed from the right hand top 'M' menu >configure.

Many many thanks for your help. I finally got it to work! I have DIY the TDA1387 x 8 DAC connected to my Pi4 via the GPIO. Surprisingly good sound quality!

I managed to connect it to my TV sound system and the streamer worked beautifully. At the moment, I am using it as a digital player playing FLAC files. When I do get an online streaming account, I will try this function.
