You could do what I do, which is have Moode running at home and just access the web interface using your touch screen device with a VPN. I use a VPN to connect to my home network and I also use something like VLC to stream the audio over the VPN. I can use it anywhere outside my network with a decent mobile or wifi connection.
That way you don't have to worry about taking additional hardware with you, it all stays at home.
