Thanks Tim, I had no idea usb volume controllers existed!

The reason for wanting the remote control is mainly because of the step involved.having to unlock hone first, often times page takes a while to reload /refresh due to memory management on phone. I just feel it would be easier to just reach for a remote controller for simple things as skipping tracks or changing volume
