I have only just got around to updating to 6.1.4 and just noticed the same behaviour (Pi 3B and unofficial DSI 7" touchscreen).
anytime I switch into library view the page freezes for around 30-40 seconds, sometimes with the "Page unresponsive" dialogue box
I got the impression it was re-loading all the album art for some reason but I may be wrong on that.
