I found that this build needed a few more ingredients; when I originally tried assembling everything, the bottom of the DAC board was coming into contact with the RPi5 heat sink fins. So, I bought a few things from Amazon:
2 Geekworm for Raspberry Pi 4 Case, Universal HAT Size Pi Case DIY Kit,

Geekworm 2x20 40 Pin Stacking Female Header Kit for Raspberry Pi

Geekworm for Raspberry Pi Installation Tool Hex Brass Spacer/Standoffs Accessories Kit

While troubleshooting, I bought a used Raspberry 4B 4GB with passive heat sinks and power supply for $36, and made a headless "Moodule" (which has been trouble free!), so I had to buy another IQ Audio DAC Pro. The cases fit rather well after I lopped off the excess plastic on top of the DAC audio output jacks. I will try adding pics after I get the screen stabilized.
