[PROBLEM] Odd update behaviour....then horrendous audio probs!!

With the Hub out of the picture, and drives connected directly/individually to the RPi4 :

KEVC 128GB, Kingston1TB and Trans1TB all work as expected.

Crucial2TB however, isn't mounted/recognised at all.
This drive IS recognised by my PC (Win11) .....and running CrystalDiskInfo shows it to be healthy at 99%

You prolly exceeded the power budget of the USB interface. Maybe at some point try consolidating your collection into fewer drives.
