I tried and it works.

On my MBP and iMac, Kazoo does not see moOde renderer since several years, I do not know why.

Have you tried Bubble UPnP? It was really the only thing that worked. With FireStream it was not connecting. So the only way was first installing the BubbleUpnP, making the settings as in the link I posted, installing LinnKazoo, starting the Raspberry with Moode, Thats it.

Yes, BubbleUPnP and Mconnect work. I use them on my Android. Some friends of me us Mconnect on iOs.

But the question was about a solution on macOS.
I installed BubbleUPnP for MacOS, it is done in the Terminal, so it is working perfectly also in MacOS

I have used BubbleUPnP server on macOs in the past, but I don't really see what use it can be made here.

Kazoo works very well on its own (but with UPnP swithed on OpenHome, thanks again, Kent).

But I'm not a great expert on all that, perhaps I missed something

BubbleUPnP Server is something different to BubbleUPnP.

Yes, indeed,
that's why I don't understand what to do with it here (I've used BubbleUPnP server on macOS in the past).

But like I said, maybe I missed something

I confess, neither do I. It looked like some confusion between the two was creeping in to the thread which prompted my comment.

If I understand you correctly, you are wanting a control point that runs on your MacOS machine, for which Linn Kazoo is probably your best bet and you are already using Smile

That simply does not exist, you will notice under the little speaker icon drop down on the Qobuz desktop UI that it states UPnP "in beta", however Qobuz confirmed years ago that has been abandoned and will never see the light of day, now you must wait some undetermined amount of time for Qobuz Connect, which will not be UPnP compatible.

The above forces you to use a 3rd party app, on iOS that would be mconnect, on Android that would be BubbleUPnP.

For the Mac desktop, your best bet is a program such as LMS, which would run in the background and offer you access to Qobuz (with actual login credentials only) through it's Qobuz plugin. No that is not the actual Qobuz desktop client, but yes it will show you things you've setup in that desktop client including favorites, purchases, playlists, etc...

As stated, LMS itself runs in the background, you access it via web browser using the Material skin plugin, which looks rather sharp for a free solution.

While LMS is fully compatible with macOS, since you are accessing it from any web browser, it can also run on hardware as humble as the Raspberry Pi with no issues at all, and still be accessed by the Mac's (or any other) web browser.

Linn Kazoo also definitely works for this use case on macOS, in not too dissimilar fashion as with LMS in the previous post.

BubbleUPnP Server is a bit of a misnomer, however if you read the website description of what it is and is not, it's clear they state it is not a standalone server program, more a set of extensions for any existing UPnP server instance that helps make certain (mostly older) broker renderers actually work.

The confusion reigns because there is also an Android app called BubbleUPnP (note the lack of "Server") which is a UPnP control point and can be used (with proper subscriber credentials) to directly access Qobuz and stream it to an endpoint such as Moode.

In the use case described here, BubbleUPnP Server doesn't help get from point A to point B, but BubbleUPnP (Android) definitely would.
