My smartphone was connected to Wifi and to Wireguard-VPN. Wifi was the same subnet as the UPnP renderer. VPN was another subnet from which accesses are routed to the first subnet. By default, accesses to the UPnP renderer were always from the VPN subnet. So you were 100% correct with your assumption that the requests came from another subnet.

Had you mentioned that VPN in your first post, we could have suggested to check the route tables straight away...

In hindsight, one would certainly approach the matter differently.

After the BubbleUPnP server (which is located in the same subnet) had also not displayed the renderer, and at the same time with MoodeOS 6.4.1 was displayed both in the BubbleUPnP server, as well as in the app on the smartphone under otherwise exactly the same conditions, I did not have in mind that the error could be located at this point.

However, these circumstances were due to other causes, as it turned out later. Therefore, the troubleshooting had taken a different course for the time being.
