I remember this nice mod :-) I was going to try and integrate it and offer it as an option but never got to doing it.

Are you trying to add zip files and how large are they?

Hi Tim,

It will be possible to have it in future updates?

Thanks to this mod, I can now switch on and off my amp via a USB Infrared transmitter, made by Dangerous Prototypes. I slightly modified the mod, so it works for me the following way:
After I click play, it sends a command via irsend (comes with lirc), then when I put on pause, it waits 5 minutes and sends power off command to amp. Also, I can control the volume of the amp using a lirc android client.

Anyone know if this mod works with the current version of Moode?

And if I need to send a 12V signal to an amp to trigger it on, I should just hook up a relay that gets triggered by the GPIO and a 12V DC power supply to push 12V, correct?
