You've mixed two different modes of operation together. It's not necessary to enter Tidal credentials in BubbleUPnP. Once moOde has been configured, then any UPnP control point can access Tidal through its (moOde's) media server.
If Tidal credentials are entered into BubbleUPnP, then it can act as a proxy media server for Tidal and no Tidal credentials are necessary in moOde. Just have to browse different directories. Not all UPnP control points have this ability.
Example: I just fired up mconnect-lite to play Tidal via my moOde player. No credentials were entered into mconnect.

Kent
Is this still possible?
I put my Tidal credentials into UnPNP config. Started Mconnect, Browse->Moode UPNP-mediaserver->Tidal->My Music->Favourite Album-> and Service login or communication failure.

AFAIK the cat and mouse game being played between Tidal and open source software developers continues. I cancelled my Tidal subscription a year ago so I have no idea how the score stands. In December the upmpdcli maintainer posted "Note: Tidal access does not work any more at all. Qobuz access works through the media server, not through the Kazoo or Lumin login (OpenHome Credentials).2020-11-24"

Then it's clear now. I'm new into "RPI audio" so didn't know big picture.
It's not working now, but you can feed moode with BubbleUPnP.
I think it would be great to have wiki, which will be updated, for tidal/qobuz/spotify/deezer/amazon as information in forum can be misleading. (becouse they are obsolete)

I can successfully stream Tidal to Moode 7.0.1 using BubbleUPnP.
With mConnect Lite my Tidal tracks will show up but the app crashes when I try to play anything. However my Android tablet is quite old, and the mConnect app is apparently 'not optimised' for it.

why are you not using BubbleUPnP for browsing Tidal ? Is there any advantage of your setup (assuming it's working).
Or do you using BubbleUPnP server ?

I do sometimes use BubbleUPnP, but mostly I use Kazoo on my MacBook.

Previously @ Keso-moode it was possible to use Tidal as its login credentials could be entered into upmpdcli(Moode), but as a result of Tidal tightening its security this method no longer works. A number of alternative approaches to this continue to work however: as has been pointed out, Tidal still woks with both the BubbleUpnp and mConnect control points; and it is also accessible if you run BubbleUpnp server, which is how I access Tidal. Incidentally, using BubbleUpnp server in this way means I can access Tidal via Kazoo.

that's how I'd like to use it. I installed BubbleUpnp server on my QNAP. I can see moode as renderer on my network.
There is no point where you enter Tidal credentials, I have to run BubbleUpnp on my android device to play Tidal.
I think I'm missing (not understanding) something important here.

I think I'm missing (not understanding) something important here. From what I gather @ Keso-moode, because of some issues with the BubbleUpnp app, upmpdcli has recently been changed and it now treats openHome and upnp AV as two different services. While I’m sure there’s good reason for this, with the default setup upmpdcli’s (Moode’s) openhome broadcast is no longer visible to BubbleUpnp Server.
My approach to overcome this was to edit upmpdcli.conf, activating the upnp AV service: upnpav = 1. With this modification BubbleUpnp Server lists Moode as a upnp AV renderer, with the default avfriendlyname 'Moode UPNP/AV'. Select the media renderers tab from BubbleUpnp Server and assign OpenHome to Moode UPNP/AV'.
Fire up either LUMIN or the kazoo app and select ‘Moode UPNP/AV’ as the playback renderer. Finally, enter your Tidal login credentials and this should enable to access Tidal. (Note, in LUMIN you enter the login credentials for Tidal via ‘options’ for Moode UPNP/AV)

Configure/Audio - scroll to UPnP/DLNA and press EDIT at UPnP config. The switches for AV or OpenHome or both are there.

My actual setup:
Configured UPnP AV and OpenHome in Moode.
Installed BubbleUPnP Server on QNAP.
BubbleUPnP Server see Moode Renderer in the Media Renderers setup. I checked "Create an OpenHome renderer" in that tab.
I set Moode UPNP-UPnp/AV (OpenHome) as renderer in the BubbleUPnP on android. Then I can select music in BubbleUPnP and play it on moode.
Advantage is, I can turn off android device and Moode will keep playing queue.
