Hello everyone, I want to share my experience of building a micro system based on tas5713 and RPI ZERO. The case is printed on a 3D printer, of course it needs to be slightly modified, but in general, everything works very well.

Wow, looks like moode can be run on a pi zero. Interesting, I might try that approach to see if I can reduce the power consumption of my networkplayer. The pi 4 always drwas around 900 mA, no matter what I do, and this is twice the amount of power consumption of a Rock64 which I also have but unfortunatekly can't run moode.

You'll be better off with the 4-core Pi-3A+ unless you are constrained by the size of your enclosure.

Pretty cool. Pulsing speaker cones are always a good thing :-)

I'll do that in my next version. But Pi Zero works pretty good, except when I'm trying to use Bluetooth and WIFI at the same time. And my aim was to make wireless speakers for inet radio and fro remote (nfs) music playing.

That's right! But I've broke my left speaker (you can check it in video) because of hi music volume. That's why I didn't increase volume more than 70-72% in my video.

What I can say, that Pi Zero draws at least double less power or even 3 times less! I'll check it later. I'm using mcp16301 as power suppler for Pi Zero which is capable to give max 600 mA. Obviously that's enough. So looks like Pi Zero and Rock64 have the same power consumption.

Hi, I checked the current: 65-70mA during boot and 135-150mA when connected by WIFI. But it is also with an amplifier at idle. It's from PSU 24 Volt. So it will be 600-800 mA pure from 3.3 V.
