Regarding the dB issue post the output from the command below. The dB value for front left and right should be in the output.

It's been a while, but FWIW this is what I get:  (did 0-2 just for completeness)

7.3.0,  with dB display switch turned on,  playing music,  vol control set to 50%.  Pi3B, attached via USB to Shiit Modi 3 DAC.

I use mconnect lite to play Qobuz via upnp. When select a new song te fast i get the message invalid file location. Restarting the upnp renderer solves it. Bubbleunp has the same issue.

I do not rembering to have this issue with 7.0, it started with 7.1 I think.

There has been a hissing noise during track change,
For 10 seconds when Crossfade option is enabled and set time 10 seconds.

If Crossfade option disabled no noise  in the beginning of tracks.

Has any one experienced this kind of issue, 
I am using latest version of moode with fiio USB dac. Tried different generic dac but results are same.

What USB chipset does the device use?

CM6631A,  opened it up to be sure.  They just came out with a Modi 3+ version, that has their proprietary Unison CPU and FW based solution,  but mine is a Modi 3.

Yep,  it is odd.  But, no problems that I've noticed, in functioning and running the volume up and down.

I could get around to updating my other Pi,  that currently is driving a AV amp thru the HDMI port... to see if the dB shows up there....

Well,  FWIW,  here's my second Pi,  now updated with 7.3.0 (from 7.2.1?) and only attached via the HDMI cable driving an AV amp for the DAC...

Very odd. Here is one of my test systems configured for HDMI, Hardware mixer and "Display dB volume" On in Audio Config.

Hello! 

Wifi doesn't work unless ethernet is plugged in, my setup has been working just fine on wifi for the last few versions, until now. I can't use ethernet besides for troubleshooting, my stereo isn't near any poerts.

I've tried all the combinations of dhcp, static and everything else i can think if. So soon as i plug in an ethernet cable, wifi works normally.

Thanks Tim,

Every time I disconnect the ethernet the wifi connection dies, then both come back when I plug it back in with separate IPs for wifi and eth0, I can connect fine to either, then everything dies again when I unplug the ethernet.
