I am totally frustrated by the Bluetooth setup. Hasn't worked in the last 10 months - which is when I started.
Rasberry Pi 3B+ and an Allo DAC Version 1.2 is my hardware
I have made a setting on the RasberryPi to separate the DAC and Rasberry PI power I'm using a Shanti linear power supply 5V 3A to the RasPI board and 5V 1A to the Allo DAC.. That is the ONLY change to the RasPI.
Here is what I have done.
starting a fresh version of the latest Version 7,
Menu, SYSTEM, it shows Bluetooth ON.
Go to AUDIO and turn on the Bluetooth Renderer, shows Moode Bluetooth, click on SET Moodeaudio does something and then says "RECONNECT" I click on RECONNECT and nothing happens. I reboot everthing and cannot connect at all.
I install a fresh image on the microSD card, start over and the same thing happens - every time.
I don't even get to BLUEZ to scan for my headphones.. I did try it once without turning on the Bluetooth renderer and nothing happened when scanned, which is what I expected.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
Thanks In advance for any help.
