i am not sure that the problem is the connecting devices because it a lot and totally different.

on the other side I am the first that I have this problem with moode.

So??

The point is that moOde's existing code results in a BT connection with the devices available to the testing team. Here, for example, is what bluetoothctl says of my iPad connection

Code:
[Pixel 3a]# info D0:D2:B0:DB:13:78
Device D0:D2:B0:DB:13:78 (public)
    Name: KARiPad
    Alias: KARiPad
    Class: 0x006a0110
    Icon: computer
    Paired: yes
    Trusted: no
    Blocked: no
    Connected: no
    LegacyPairing: no
    UUID: Vendor specific           (00000000-deca-fade-deca-deafdecacafe)
    UUID: Service Discovery Serve.. (00001000-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Audio Source              (0000110a-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
UUID: A/V Remote Control Target (0000110c-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Advanced Audio Distribu.. (0000110d-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: A/V Remote Control        (0000110e-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Handsfree Audio Gateway   (0000111f-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Message Access Server     (00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: PnP Information           (00001200-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Generic Attribute Profile (00001801-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb)
    UUID: Vendor specific           (02030302-1d19-415f-86f2-22a2106a0a77)
    Modalias: bluetooth:v004Cp7016d0F20

and similarly for my iPhone and Google Pixel 3A phone.

If the moOde code doesn't result in a connection with other devices we need to know what those devices are if we are to have a chance of understanding what's different.

The only one of your list that I have a possibility of borrowing is a Bluetooth-equipped Win10 laptop and I don't know when I'll get to it.

Kent

@georgew21 given the large number of devices that won't connect to your RPi, I'd recommend borrowing a replacement RPi if you can and seeing if that can connect with Bluetooth when running moOde. I know you say that picoreplayer works, but there is still scope for a hardware issue that is not exposed by picoreplayer, and is exposed by moOde.

it's difficult to find another RPi.

Searching google I found out that the problem with connecting some devices to bluez is known and it has already suggested the solution to "trust" before the connection of a device.

Why with picoreplayer I hadn't problem and with moode I had it's uknown for me. I don't know if moode use latest version of bluez. in picoreplayer I had updated bluez
