Rusty from SomaFM put up some new test streams:

On the page he has HLS audio of streams in various formats:

FLAC Lossless Stereo (about 1.1mb/sec)

320k AAC Stereo

128k AAC Stereo

64k AAC-HE Stereo

320k AAC Surround

He also has information regarding the timed metadata that's in the HLS stream, in case that is interesting / useful to folks too.

Wow, cool that SomaFM are testing higher quality streams, but unfortunately MPD is not capable of playing HLS streams AFAIK.

+1, I've been using that one since it's announcement and it's working well, quite stable, though no metadata in my instance.
