Upcoming moOde 8.2.3 release (Q4)
#31
Hi Tim,

Thank you for your time and patience. I understand your goals and concerns. Maybe one day as you suggested, a volume slider might be implemented to bring back volume control on this screen.

Congratulations for Moode !

Best regards.

Is also a Bump for Chromium planned?

Can't get Spotify web player to work and an upgrade may help.

Updating it manually I am afraid of breaking things   Angel

@Ale2.0

A quick search of the Raspberry PiOS repo using apt-cache will show you that moOde is running the latest version available: 104.0.5112.105. You want later, you’ll have to find/build it.

Kent

I'm not sure what "Can't get Spotify web player to work" means but in any case the Spotify renderer doesn't use chromium browser. it's a completely separate app.

I assumed he wanted to self-host the Spotify browser, but you know what they say about “assume.”?

Sorry, that was my verbal shorthand for logging into a premium account on spotify.com in a web browser. Spotify calls it the "Web Player". Works on my Linux laptop, for example.

Thats exactly what I try.
This https://www.linuxuprising.com/2021/03/ra...evine.html article made me hope it would work but the drm warning which does not let you play anything still appears sadly.

I incorrectly assumed chromium-browser may not be up to date.

As it is, I don't have any other idea why it might not work for me.

Changelogs are really nice to read, excited for the update! Rolleyes
