The original message was a false alarm. When I rebooted the RPi to get a clean startup log, the problems were gone…
Is there a way to invert the display order of radio stations when sorting by bitrate such that highest rate stations appear at the top?

Thanks,
Mike
Good idea. I'll add to the TODO list.

Hi Tim,

I have spotted three minor bugs which are still present in version 8.3.6:

  1. Backup/Restore does not include the setting Preference => Library => Track play => Track/Track+.

  2. Backup/Restore correctly restores the bluetooth buffer size on the Bluetooth Control page, but does not update the config file /etc/bluealsaaplay.conf accordingly. Only after pressing "Set" on the Bluetooth Control page, the correct value is written into the bliuealsa config file.

  3. If you connect to a bluetooth source, the setting Volume type "Fixed (0dB output)" automatically reverts to "Software" after the bluetooth device has been disconnected.

Best regards
Jens
Hi!
moOde 8 on Pi 4. Works good, good sound.
Just installed my newly acquired raspi 7" touch screen.
Nice display, works good for input.
1 issue though: under the configuration settings there's an option to rotate the screen orientation by 0 or by 180 degrees.
Screen looks the same at either setting, which is a shame since, in my setup, that's upside down!

Any suggestions?

I think you need to reboot for that to take effect.
I have the original 7'', and have it set to be rotate 180 deg. and it shows correctly oriented.
Hi swissguest,
As Al (Nutul) reported it may be need a reboot.
Otherwise it could be that you are configuring some parameter for the display from the terminal: you have to do the display configuration using the touch screen of the display.
Best regards,
Francesco
Hi,

I have spotted a minor GUI issue which is present up to version 8.3.7:

Cover images which have a larger height than width (e.g. the picture of a DVD sized case with a ratio of roughly 1.4) pose problems for the GUI in some places: On the main screen the space below the image may get too small to fully display the track title and metadata (which are just cut off at the bottom of the screen). In tag library view the cover image on the left hand side of the track list is cut off at the bottom.
Note that other parts of the GUI handle these cover images perfectly: Im album view, for example, the full cover image is shown nicely in the rectangular grid.

Regards
Jens
