OMG, the Infocast. I liked it so much bought two and was one of the many folks actively hacking it on our way to develop custom firmware based on FOSS software. I loved that bit of kit but it taught me never again to buy into a closed ecosystem. IMO, the Facebook Portal is a modern-day equivalent. Fabulous screen resolution, actually not bad on-board audio, and promising processing power. No surprise to me but apparently a surprise to those who drank the KoolAid, Facebook turned it back on the Portal after it proved not to be an ongoing revenue generator. Yet another tech doorstop.
Hope you enjoy moOde!
