Solved: Moode plays radio station when I stop AirPlay2
#1
Hey everyone!

I'm having a problem on a fresh Moode install on a Pi 3b.

Whenever I stop playing something via Airplay2/Roon, Moode automatically starts playing the Soma FM - Beat Blender radio station!

I'm not sure how to stop this from happening?  I just want to use Moode as a Roon/Airplay endpoint.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction, please Smile

Cheers

Hmm, there was a big list of stations down the left hand side of the web interface - I just selected "clear queue" and they went away.

Let's see if that sorts it!

Check your "resume MPD" settings in the renderer config screen. If you set that on, then once you disconnect from the renderer moOde will start MPD playing what ever is next on the queue. That "big list of stations" is the queue.

Thank you!  Removing the queue of stations (not sure if they're there by default, or whether I pressed something during install?) has sorted this.

Also, Resume MPD was on for Airplay. It's now off.

Yes, the queue is populated with the default playlist when you first install moOde.  With resume MPD off, you won't get any automatic playback even if there are things on the queue now.
