I should think the possible edge cases would be
- external WiFi adapters - but I see that near the end of TheThread, MrEngMan reports that "8188eu drivers are now available for 5.4.35+ #1314." I know we have at least one user using an adapter with that WiFi chip.
- vendor I2S drivers - as I said, I've not tested any DAC HATs, but @jonners post here is encouraging.
- SPI usage - only 'cuz on TheThread, DougieLawson has been reporting trouble with some SPI display.
- the Allo boards
