The Katana/4B fix will appear in a future Raspberry Pi kernel bump. If it's released in Q3 2023 then it will be included it in upcoming moOde 8.3.4 :-)

In the meantime here is a procedure to install the updated dtoverlay.

This is brilliant work Tim. I don't have any affected hardware, but I'm very impressed with you getting this fixed in the kernel.

I just provided testing and data it was the truly brilliant Pi kernel dev's @pelwell that found and fixed the bug in the Boss 2 CODEC and @6by9 that provided the I2C BUS speed fix for the Katana dtoverlay.
