The Katana/4B fix will appear in a future Raspberry Pi kernel bump. If it's released in Q3 2023 then it will be included it in upcoming moOde 8.3.4 :-)

In the meantime here is a procedure to install the updated dtoverlay.

Code:
sudo cp /boot/overlays/allo-katana-dac-audio.dtbo ./allo-katana-dac-audio.dtbo.original
wget -q https://moodeaudio.org/test/allo-katana-dac-audio.dtbo
sudo cp ./allo-katana-dac-audio.dtbo /boot/overlays/

sudo reboot

This is brilliant work Tim. I don't have any affected hardware, but I'm very impressed with you getting this fixed in the kernel.

Kudos to Tim and also to pelwell and the other RPF folk who responded so quickly and completely. The FOSS movement at its best.

I just provided testing and data it was the truly brilliant Pi kernel dev's @pelwell that found and fixed the bug in the Boss 2 CODEC and @6by9 that provided the I2C BUS speed fix for the Katana dtoverlay.
