Official moOde 7.0.0 support thread

Trying to enter SSID manually but MoOde will not take it nor will SCAN find it. Box is outlined in Red and I am prompted to match the requested format. It is <SHIRE>. This has worked in all previous versions.

OK, I found the culprit and am passing my info on to the test team. The fix can be implemented in the field with a trivial text edit to a file from the command line if you feel up to it.

Um, sorry to say Tim noted I missed part of the problem. I sussed out what was preventing the user entering angle brackets in the webform but overlooked a counterpart issue with processing the result. ‘Fraid it’ll take a little longer to fix.

Hi! Enjoying version 7.0. I just had two observations for possible fix consideration when using an iPhone Xs iOS14.3/Chrome interface:
1) The play control buttons seem to be overlapping with artist name in full view. (Photo#1)
2) When auto switching from horizontal/landscape view to vertical view by flipping the phone, the vertical page is not filled in full (blank space from top to bottom on the right hand side taking ~20% of the width of the visible page) (Photo #2)

This is a great release, all working perfectly on my pi3B+ with Justboom Amp Hat. Many thanks indeed!

The only (minor) thing I dislike is the animated bars in the playlist, it would be great to have the option to turn them off.

After opening moOde in the Browser navigate to the Browsers "Add to home screen" button and then tap "Add". This creates a bookmark on your Home screen that when opened will display moOde like an app without the Browser top and bottom bars.

No worries! The genius of RPi = remove SD card 7.0.0, replace with SD card 6.7.1, hit Play!
